Join us on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the PSAR East Service Center for a day of education, leadership, and community partnerships in celebration of Juneteenth.

  • Early Bird Registration: $10 (until June 5th), $15 after June 5th
  • Note: Please, no children under 10 years old


  • Guest Speaker: Dr. Thekima Mayasa, Professor of Black Studies at San Diego Mesa College & Co-Chair of the California Community College Ethnic Studies Faculty Council
  • Facilitator & Guest Speaker: Shane Harris, National Civil Rights Activist and Founder of the People’s Association of Justice Advocates
  • Entertainment: Praise Dancers, Afrocentric Dancers
  • Food: Creole, Jamaican & Soul cuisine
  • Vendors: Diverse local vendors showcasing their products

The first 50 people to register will receive a gift bag and commemorative t-shirt!

This event is designed to honor the progress made and inspire change through education, leadership, and community partnerships. PSAR is collaborating with valued community partners to promote the significance of Juneteenth and advocate for unity against racism and injustice in all its forms.
