Celebrate Independence Day at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park

California State Parks invites you to step back in time and celebrate an old-fashioned Fourth of July at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park! Join park staff and volunteers as they recreate the festivities of early San Diego residents from the 1800s with fun games, crafts, and live music by the Big Mountain Blue Grass Band.

This family-friendly event is free to the public, though some activities may require an additional purchase. Additional parking is available at the CalTrans headquarters, just two blocks from the park at 2994 Sunset Street.
