The 2024 Teddy Ball, was a colorful, yet visually stunning display, full of surprises, joys, and of course, fashion, and, It was indeed a thrill to see some of San Diego’s most prestigious people coming together under one roof for a beautiful cause.
What is exactly is Teddy Ball? The Teddy Ball is a high-energy holiday celebration that brings together San Diego’s finest to make a difference in the lives of sick and underprivileged children throughout the San Diego County community.
Proceeds from The Teddy Ball benefit, Cruise 4 Kids, a non profit organization that hosts multiple youth charity fundraisers, throughout each year, including, the Teddy Ball.
Guests in attendance of the annual Teddy Ball, must donate a teddy bear, no size is too big, and must wear some form of formal attire such as Tuxedo and Black Tie, or ball room gown.
This year’s gracious ball brought about so many different layers throughout the evening, to the point that it was almost impossible to enjoy everything in one night.
Some of San Diego’s most established businesses donated some of the most lavish prizes you could ever hope to bid on, or win if you’re lucky. The prizes that were donated were used during the silent auction. The silent auction was just one aspect of the fun-filled night.
From the extravagant pile of teddy bears that Teddy Ball patrons could jump into, to the huge Teddy Ball branded backdrop and red carpet laid out for guest arrivals, to the spacious dance floor and DJ, and of course, providing a platform with the ability to interact with 1500 of San Diego’s elite, this event at the Hyatt Regency Hotel La Jolla, was an event that should be talked about for the ages.
If you top that off with a bodacious fashion runway stage set up to showcase the high end fashion, this event is for sure, the “Belle” of San Diego Lifestyle.
