Celebrate Independence Day at the 53rd Annual Scripps Ranch 4th of July Parade!

Get ready to celebrate Independence Day in Scripps Ranch, known as America’s Patriotic Cul de Sac, with our 53rd Annual 4th of July Parade! This event is a cherished tradition, bringing together the community for a fun-filled day of patriotic festivities.

Event Details:

Date: Thursday, July 4, 2024
Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Parade starts at Red Cedar Drive and Ironwood Road, ending at Aviary Drive and Canyon Lake Drive.
Staging Area: Red Cedar Dr. between Mesa Madera Dr. and Saunders Dr., as well as on Red Cedar Pl., Red Cedar Ln., and Red Cedar Way.
Cost: Free to attend; donations and memberships are encouraged to support the event.

Parade Participant Information:

• Arrival: 9:00 AM at the staging area.
• Staging Details: Only vehicles cleared to drive in the parade are allowed in the staging area. Drop-offs for participants should occur on Mesa Madera Drive at Red Cedar Drive.
• Parking: Limited; street parking on Mesa Madera Drive.

Event Highlights:

• Patriotic Entertainment: Enjoy live performances, free children’s crafts, western reenactors, and train displays.
• Food and Fun: Tasty treats and train rides available for a nominal fee, and various craft and community organization booths.
• Parade Route: The parade starts at 10:00 AM from Red Cedar Drive and Ironwood Road and ends at Aviary Drive at Canyon Lake Drive.
• Post-Parade Activities: Join the fun at Hoyt Park hosted by the Scripps Ranch Old Pros.

Get Involved:

• Funding: The parade costs have risen to $13,000. Support is needed to continue this great tradition. Donations can be made at www.scrippsranch.org/join.
• Participation: We need groups and individuals to sign up to march in the parade. Neighborhood groups, community organizations, schools, scouts, sports teams, businesses, and more are welcome.
